The RP46074 shower cartridge can be used for (rough-in R10000, R1100, R1800, R2200, etc.) single handle function repair kit, suitable for all single handle 13/14 series bathtub/shower. (NOT FIT 1300/1400 series). The single-handle universal valve cartridge repair assembly is made with high-quality brass and extra-durable plastic, sturdy and not easy to deform. It is easy to use and limits the maximum flow of hot water to prevent overheating.

The RP46074 valve cartridge adopts a pressure balance design, providing single-function pressure balance temperature control that can keep the water temperature within a safe range of ±3.6°F (±2°C), protecting you from sudden changes in the pressure of cold or hot water when showering. This easy-to-install and repair solution means there's no need to replace the entire faucet.

The RP46074 cartridge consistently provides warm water, preventing you from cold water surprises during your shower. The pressure balancing mechanism maintains the temperature within a safe range of ±3.6°F (±2°C), while the adjustable temperature limit stop controls the maximum hot water temperature, ensuring a safe shower experience.

Before 2016, these faucets were blue and had different sizes, while an off-white unit was used for faucets in 2016 and later. If you're unsure about the year, please temporarily remove the old one and check the color and measurements. Please confirm the identification of the "Type P" mark on the original ink cartridge before ordering.

After installation, please adjust the rotational limit stop to the cold side to avoid burns when the handle of the valve is rotated to the hot side. The RP46074 cartridge is easy to operate, install, and repair a leaking faucet, without requiring too many tools or experience. Before installing the new valve core, remember to clean all the contaminants in the old valve core area.
